THIRD PERSON POV

The whole Giovanni family was enjoying some time in the garden.

Salvatore and Athena were expecting their last child any day now and were taking their time to relax.

They loved their children unconditionally but had always wanted a little girl.

They both had hope like every other pregnancy but were ready to accept that it would be another boy; one in which they would love to their hearts content.

Matheo was the oldest and took it upon himself to play with Marco and Luca.

They were all playing soccer with each other whilst the younger ones were clinging to their father trying to climb on him.

Romeo was on one shoulder and Rocco on the other.

Throughout the day, the brother played with each other, and their love for one another was clearly visible.

After an afternoon in the sun, everyone was ready to head inside and clean up, but as Athena got up she felt wetness around her feet and on her dress.

Her water had broke.

"SALVATORE! QUICK! MY WATER'S BROKE".

Salvatore who was messing with his youngest children ran to her.

He picked her up as gently as he could and grabbed the bag they had prepped.

He told that staff what was going on and to help gather the children.

He placed his wife in the car and got the rest of the children buckled in safely and ordered their driver to get to the hospital.

He wanted his whole family present as this would be their last child.

He held his wife closely and whispered "how are you feeling mi amore?"
Athena just shook her head scrunching her face in pain whilst muttering "contractions".

He understood and just held her whilst looking adoringly at his family.

They were 5 minutes out from the hospital when their youngest, Romeo started speaking. "Momma baby comin? I be big brofer? Me weally want to be big brofer, momma."

Salvatore didn't have to reply as Matheo put him on his lap and started chucking him in the air and tickling him as he chuckles with baby laughs.

"Yes, you're gonna be a big brother baby. You're going to have to be big and strong in order to play with our baby brother like i did with you. You got that? You got them muscles?"

Romeo laughed at first but then turned serious as he tried to show of his muscles whilst trying to punch to show how string he is and that he will protect his baby brother.

It started with Romeo until all of the brothers were comparing their muscles arguing over who would protect their baby brother the most.

"I fink it's a giwl. I fink Momma's got a girl in her tummy. I gonna protect my sistwer." Rocco interrupted everyone whilst smiling.

Everyone's mood dampened a bit as they didn't want to get their hopes up for a baby girl.

Salvatore took Rocco's hands and told him in the nicest way possible that it might not be a girl, and that he needs to be prepared for a boy.

The boy didn't listen and went over to their mother and touched their mother's stomach whilst whispering "sissy".

Nevertheless the rest still went in expecting a boy.

The children were waiting outside the room whilst Athena was pushing.

Salvatore was holding her hand comforting her. "You're doing so well my love, just a couple more".

She complied and popped her baby into the waiting arms of the doctor.

The baby cried instantly which lifted a weight from their chests as Athena sighed in relief.

The doctors in the room cleaned, weighed and swaddled the baby in a blue blanket.

"Mr and Mrs Giovanni, here is your baby boy" the doctor said nervously.

The whole staff knew of Mr Giovanni's scary temper and did everything as best they could in order to be safe.

It was common knowledge around the world that this family owned Italy and that they were scary.

As the parents were holding and cooing over their child, Athena broke out in screams again.

The worried father took the baby and started threatening the doctors whilst trying not to disturb their baby but needing his wife to be ok.

He was holding her whispering sweet things in her ear.

The doctor examined her and told her she needed to push.

Salvatore was confused and demanded to know what was happening. "What's wrong with my wife!?"

"We think there's another baby that was hidden behind the first, that's why it didn't show up on the scans".

Salvatore was shocked but allowed them to continue nevertheless urging his wife to push.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He just hoped that the two would come out unscathed.

After another round of pushing the baby finally came out.

The first thing the parents realised was how small the child was but what was even worse was how it didn't cry.

The two had tears running down their cheeks worried for the life of their unexpected child.

Salvatore passed their baby boy to his wife and shadowed the doctors in what they were doing.

Currently they were trying to unblock the babies airway.

Salvatore backed away finding it hard to breath, hand covering his mouth trying to stop the flow of tears.

There had never been complication like this before with his children.

He couldn't watch so he went to console his wife knowing that the doctors would stay in the room so they could still see what was happening.

A couple of minutes passed which felt like hours to the parents. They were expecting the worst from the look of the frenzied doctors.

They couldn't think or see clearly until the doctor nervously came over with a baby swaddled in a yellow blanket, tubes in it's nose and tiny in comparison to their other child.

"Congratulations on your twin boy and girl Mr and Mrs Giovanni. You will have to stay longer in order for us to monitor the girl. She is underweight and needs extra help from being underdeveloped. It seems her brother was taking most of the food."

The two parents were speechless as they looked towards each other in shock as they held their two babies, a hidden girl included, a surprise they were not expecting.

"What should we name them Salvatore? I was thinking Adrian for our baby boy. Why don't you name our baby girl".

Salvatore stared speechless at his wife as he allowed her to name their baby girl.

He loved the name Adrian and had no discussion on his wife's choice of name. It didn't take him long to grasp a name that he had been hoping to use for over a decade. "Alina Giovanni".

The two parents kissed whilst caressing their babies faces.

He dismissed the doctors vowing to see them later and allowed his children to come in.

They all came in cautiously in order to not wake the baby. All of the boys except Rocco went to the mother in order to see their baby brother.

You could hear the cooing for miles as the baby boy's small hands grabbed onto as many fingers as he could, his green eyes gleaming.

Rocco continued to pull his father's pants in order for him to bend down, as if he could sense that he was carrying his baby sister in his arms.

The boy ignored his father as he looked wide eyed at the baby girl.

He carefully put his hand out to stroke her head and kissed her hair whilst whispering sissy again and again.

With a smile on his face he walked away to his momma muttering how him and his muscles would protect her.

After everyone had seen little Adrian they waited for their father to gather with them.

It didn't take long for them to realise what he was carrying in his arms, and as one can imagine they was a lot of squealing, hugging and even more comparing of the muscles.

All of the family vowed to protect the prince and princess, even the toddlers.

There were some concerns about her health from all of the brothers,but that would hopefully sort itself out in the future.

She was going to be the most loved little girl on planet Earth.

Salvatore couldn't even begin to imagine how his father and mother and brothers and the rest of the family would react.

Third person's POV

The family stayed in the hospital for around a week. The younger children were taken home many times by the staff of the house in order for them to rest sufficiently.

Yet they would not stay home for long and opted to stay in the hospital with their baby siblings as long as they could.

They did not want to alert the rest of the family about what had happened as they wanted Alina to be on a safe track.

They would not risk their princess for the impatience of some.

Salvatore and Matheo followed the doctors everywhere they went with Alina just to ensure her safety.

Due to Alina's size she was going to have to have a feeding tube for the first couple of years of her life.

She was very malnourished although she would still be able to breastfeed from Athena she needs extra food and nutrients in order for her to grow healthily.

The hope was that as she got older and grew so would her appetite and she wouldn't need it anymore.

The family made sure that they would keep an eye on her eating habits as she grows into a toddler.

Throughout the nights, the twins would stay cuddled up between the two parents as they slept with each other.

They couldn't bear to part from each other.

If any of the other kids decided to stay they would be put on the outside of the twins but still surrounded by their parents.

Adrian had grown a quick attachment to Alina.

She had to be kept in an incubator for most of her days and was now starting to be allowed out of it more often.

As soon as she was moved away from him he was start bursting out in tears and would only stop once she had returned to his side, or he was fed. 

It was as if he knew something was missing.

There was a crazy difference in the weight and height of the twins and the family still had worries about how breakable Alina could be.

They were still in disbelief of having a girl.

Salvatore and Athena knew that in about a week's time the twins presence needed to be know or their families would kill them.

They deemed that time for Alina to recover better.

After a week the family decided to notify the others of the birth but did not say that they had twins.

They wanted to hide the surprise.

It didn't take long for the grandparents to arrive. They were obviously first. Ginny managed to barge her mafia husband out of the way to reach her new grandchild first. "Where's my new baby boy?". Before she could reach any baby she was attacked by her other grandchildren especially the younger and middle ones

. There were many words along the lines of "Grammy, I got a sissy! Look at my mufles that I protect her wif". She looked she'll shocked to say the least and as politely as she could she shoved her grandkids in a loving manner out of the way. She always wanted a granddaughter and she was way too excited.

As she reached the bed with Salvatore and Athena in, she reached out for their bundle which they allowed her to take. She peered into the baby's green eyes. She was drawn immediately and for got about how it was the wrong gender. After a minute of cooing over the baby she realised that it was in fact a boy, was she disappointed, a little bit but her love for him didn't diminish in the slightest.

With the baby she hugged her son and daughter-in-law whilst sitting with the kids who were complaining about her stealing their bubba. As she was cooing over all of her grandchildren and managing to hug even the oldest ones her husband had finally reached the room.

"Boy, you need to sort your mother out. She pushed a bed in front of me to try and slow me down, she's going crazy! This is a hospital!" Alphonso bellowed in a childish manner. Thankfully none of the newborns woke up, as he wasn't too loud.

As he saw his wife with the new bundle he smiled and went over to congratulate his seen and his daughter in law. "I couldn't be more prouder of you two, i hope you know that.".

This was one of the few times he'd had shown pure emotion and Salvatore and Athena hugged him as tight as they possibly could. He was the best grandad ever. He also was seen as a father figure to Athena as her parents had died when she was younger.

After the greeting, he too went to hang with the grandkids and you could see his face of adoration as he looked at his last grandchild. He could not be happier. The only time he was ever like this was when he was around his family.

As the whole family was starting to feel at peace, comotion was heard outside the room and throughout the corridor. The family knew that it was the cousins, uncles and aunts coming. Honestly, this family stops at nothing to get what they want, especially to see the last Giovanni born in this generation.

Carlos and his wife were first through the door. The whole family's eyes were frantic looking for the bundle of joy. It's mad how people don't notice the incubator with their baby girl. Nevertheless, the family wanted everyone here in order to introduce their princess.

It was the best surprise ever.

Carlos and his boys basically ignored Athena and Salvatore in order to see the baby. they didn't get very far as Alphonso was pushing them back whilst holding his grandchild in his arms claiming  "It's my time to hold him. as your elder, you listen to me". The harsh tone to his words would make anybody else run for the hills but the family was used to it.

They just decided to back off until he was ready to share. He was a big baby really. Ginny had to hold in a laugh. He had good intentions, really.

Suzanna came over to Athena and Salvatore just to see how she was doing. She knew how much childbirth killed and was thankful to not be popping out anymore babies. The two women hugged and gossiped for a while watching the whole family be infatuated with the new baby boy.

"psstt Suzanna" Athena whispered, "don't stare but look at the incubator to my left. don't make a fuss, it's still a surprise".

She listened and ever so slightly and discreetly turned her head to see what she was meant to be looking at. her eyes settled on the incubator and what she saw made her squeal like a child, inside of course. She can be discreet when she needed. A pair of green eyes, identical to that of the child the rest of the family was hovering over, stared back at her with a grin. she grinned back whilst staring at how small she was.

She didn't want to ask questions about the baby girl's health as she knew it would be best to wait for the rest of the family. The girl was so small. She couldn't wait for her to grow up. her and her other aunts and grandma would dress up and do makeup together.

She's always wanted a baby girl, even if it's just in the family in order to have similar interests. she would help her get ready for her dates as she got older. she was going to be a heartbreaker, just like her brother.

She looked at Athena wide eyed and whispered about how happy she was. She was almost jumping up and down. She couldn't wait to make a plan with the other aunts. Athena and Salvatore smiled as they were now complete.

Athena knew the aunts and Ginny would love hearing Alina's gossip with boys, but decided against mentioning it with the men in the room who would undoubtedly object.

The rest of the family came in with a similar manner. The men crowded over Adrian after Alphonso decided they could hold him for a while. The other aunts had the same reaction as Suzanna and were quietly discussing the future of the girl. They couldn't wait to shower her and dress her up like their own little doll.

Time had passed and everybody had held Adrian for a sufficient amount of time. Gunny and Alphonso still hugged him though. Everyone was content staring at little Adrian. He hadn't made up a fuss as his sister was still in his eyesight and his stomach was full. The peace was interrupted by Salavatore who was standing in front of the incubator.

"Everybody, I have some news". Everyone was quiet at the sound of that. "We have another member of the family you have yet to meet". Everybody except the aunts and Athena's boys looked at each other confused. "What do you mean boy, I have my newborn grandson right here? '' Alphonso replied.

Salvatore moved out of the way and directed towards the baby girl who was reaching out for her father. He had permission to take her out of the incubator. He took the bundle out and tried not to tear up at his blessing of a daughter reaching out for his beard hair.

"This is our princess, Alina Giovanni. Please be careful. She is underweight and had quite a battle to survive childbirth, she was hiding behind her brother in the womb. She's our little miracle".

Commotion was heard all around by the men of the family all wanting to be able to hold their princess that they would protect with their lives. People were pushed and shoved, lives almost lost and of course it was grandad who got there first with Adrian in his arms as well.

Like children the rest of the family lined up in a queue in order to see their baby girl. They didn't want to risk harming her in any way so even the shoves were discreet.

"Careful Dad, she's valuable". Salvatore said, not wanting to let his daughter go.
Alphonso ignored him completely and slapped him upside the head. "Shut up and let me have my granddaughter. I know she's valuable". He rolled his eyes at his son and was going to continue to argue his point on why he's safe with his grandbabies when they were cut off by the sweetest laugh.

Everybody was silent, as the voice continued. They all moved towards Athena in the bed in order for everyone to witness the laugh. Alina smiled up towards her grandad and squeezed his finger with her hand whilst grinning up at him. Alphonso held the identical babies in his arms as they both looked up to him. His eyes were watering as he looked at the two angels. This is one of the few times he's ever cried. The other times were at his other grandson's births.

There were even more for his little princess this time.

The babies were moved over to Ginny and Rocco got her attention. "I told you I had a sissy, gwanny. Look at my mufles, they are sooo big, so i can prowtect my sissy". Ginny also has tears in her eyes but they gleamed as she looked at the aunts and their mischievous look knowing they were going to make her into a heartbreaker. "Yes my baby boy, I see them. They're massive. You can definitely protect your sissy from all the boys who will love her".

All of the men in the room froze. They were about to freak out about the comment but Romeo beat them to it. "nu uh, only me and her bwothers are allowed to wove her". all of the men agreed and made comments of their own.

"She'll never date. She only needs the love of her family"

"She's too good for any boy"

"I''ll kill any boy who comes near my princess"

"we're going to have such a fun time dressing her up for her first date and seeing her first kiss. Maybe even marriage" Athena said, deadly serious and excited. The rest of the women agreed whereas the men looked ready to kill.

"NO!", "NOT MY PRINCESS", "NEVER", "MARRIAGE IS OFF THE TABLE! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT"

THE TWINS ARE 3 YEARS OLD HERE

"Baby girl get back here, i haven't had my cuddle yet"  Marco screamed jokingly at Alina. Him, Matheo and their dad had gone out for mafia business today and his princess had given everyone a hug except him. It was cruel. Even Adrian gave him a hug. He rarely hugs anyone except his sister and mother.

"No Coco, you eat all my cwkies. No cwdles for you." the cheeky girl said as she reached the living room where the rest of the family was chilling. She ran over to her father in order to have some back up. Her grandad and father backed her up in almost anything.

The girl was spoiled by the whole family, but she had amazing manners. She wasn't rude or snobby to anyone. She was kind to everyone and always saw the best in them. She was happy with the littlest things when she could have everything.

She was perfect.

"Oh my baby girl, what will we do?" Her dad replied looking at her pouting face. The girl had a major sweet tooth. Although she loved food she still couldn't eat a lot so she still had her feeding tube. She was deemed to get it out next year though, so her health was on the right track.

She looked a lot younger than her brother due to her size but it added to her cuteness in her family's opinion.

Before Alina could even say anything Adrian had scrambled off his mothers lap and started punching his big brother's arms. To him it felt like nothing but the boy was giving his all. "sissy towd you not to eat her cwkies. You need to liwsen before i get mama to make you go to beddy time eawly. Don't be wude to my princess again, got it mister?"

Everyone was awing at the cuteness. Marco did not look fased though and continued to go near Alina begging for a cuddle.

This caused Adrian to chase after him before he could reach his princess. He didn't get far anyway as Salavtore blocked his princess from his sights whilst she giggled an angelic laugh. "You may be my son, but if you ever take my princess's food, i'll listen to Adrian and put you to bed early, got it?" Alphonso's eyes gleamed with humor. He wasn't that serious and Marco knew that but he wanted to join in on the fun with the twins.

There was still a bit of him that would send him to bed early for stealing his baby girl's food. Of course he loved all of his sons equally but his daughter held a special place in his heart just like she did with the rest of the family.  "Now apologize to my sissy", Adrian's cute little voice chimed in again. He was attempting to glare at Marco and the whole family just had to coo.

The child blushed but stayed firm with his arms crossed.

In order to make the performance more believable, Matheo got down on his knees and started shaking Alina whilst fake sobbing and apologizing. Aiden grinned successfully at getting his princess the treatment she deserves. Alina laughed, for a while at least.

Marco was way too engrossed in his performance and Alina thought he was really really upset. This caused a chain reaction and little Alina started crying as well feeling really guilty thinking she caused this.

"Bubba, i'm sowwy. I not mean it, downt be angry with me. I'm weally sowwy. I'll give you loads of cwdles for ever and ever! Forgive Alina'' the girl said whilst hiccuping and sobbing. she didn't want her bubba to be upset at her and thought she had gone too far. She wanted forgiveness and so she jumped onto Marco, not letting go at all. Holding onto him as if he was her lifeline.

The whole family had obviously taught the twins about manners and how you should be kind to everyone, and Alina was a very special and gentle soul. She's never done anything bad or made anyone upset. She was the kind of kid that didn't know how to be mean. She was perfect without even trying. Although Adrian was a bit of a different story as he was a bit cheeky.

His sister always vouched for him and got him out of trouble.

"Hey baby, it's ok. I was just messing with you. Look, my eyes are dry. I'm not crying anymore." Marco said shakingly. He didn't mean to get his sister all riled up like this. He was scared to look up and face the wrath of his family.

Alina had blocked out all of Marco's words and just continued to cuddle him. she couldn't believe how upset she made him. After calming down, she saw that he was crying. This time it was for real but she didn't know that. He Was crying because he felt guilty for making her feel this way.

Due to the guilt she felt she untangled herself from him and ran over to her grandad needing comfort. He and her papa gave the best comfort for her.

She didn't say anything but just hid herself in her grandad's chest.

Alphonso was glaring at Marco who was beside himself. He wanted to go over to his baby girl and make everything better but he knew she was in too much of a fragile place of mind.

He went for the next best option which was Adrian. The little guy still looked mad at him but could care less when he saw his tears. He just wanted to be sure he was ok.

Time passed and the whole family was getting tired so they all started heading to bed. Alphonso took her to her parents room and got her ready in her Winnie the Pooh pajamas.

Marco took Adrian to his room to get him changed. The parents were tidying up downstairs.
Alina was given her favorite teddy bear but would still not come out of her little shell. She felt immense guilt.

Alphonso didnt mind as these things have happened before with both of the twins. They just needed comfort and they would typically forget about it the next morning seeing as they were toddlers.

Alphonso continued to rock her back and forth until she fell asleep. it didn't take long, so he took her downstairs so everyone could say goodnight.
Everyone said goodnight and gave her a quick peck on the cheek or head.

"Night sissy."

"Night babygirl"

"Love you"

Alphonso set her in her room with her race car bed. Hers was right next to her twin brothers which was connected to the parents room. Adrian had been put to bed by Marco but he was still up waiting for his sister.

For as long as the child had been able he would stay awake until he saw his sister by his side asleep. Adrian looked pooped. His eyes were drooping but he would only fall asleep once his sister was tucked in.

Alphonso tucked ehr in and gave her a kiss on the head and moved onto Aiden. He did the same for him but whispered, "Good night my brave little knight. You'll be the best protector when youre older". The boy couldnt stay awake to listen as he fell asleep already.

Alphonso went to bed himself with his wife beside him. She would be putting the twins to bed tomorrow night. The grandparents amd parents alternated but Salvatore snd Athena went in after they were asleep as well just to check on them.

They usually whispered about how cute they looked in their race car beds and how the wished they would never grow up. They didnt want the cuteness to be lost.

Across the house, Marco was laying awake in his bed. He couldn't believe how much he hurts his sister. He takes pride on being the jokester of the family. He had plans for Rocco to be included in his pranks. He was the perfect man for the job.

Every one in the family comforted him knowing he felt like shit about an innocent mistake he made but he couldn't get it out of his head. She was such an angel. Why did she have to put up with my attitude he asked himself.

Time passed and he couldn't stop thinking about if she now hated him. She couldn't even look him in the eye. Marco was a serious over thinker and it was easy for him to get caught up in his thoughts.

He couldn't sleep so he just let his eyes closed. Later in the night he heart little foot steps in his room. He let his eyes closed having an idea of who it was but still wondering if it was a dream.

The was a weight on his blanket after a soft little "oomph". Then he heard his baby sister whispering to him.

"I really sorry bubba, please forgiwe me" and getting kissed on the nose. The child got under his blankets and cuddled into him.

His lips turned into a smile and his worries disappeared. He held onto her right not willing to let her go. He looked at her like the angel she was. She made everyone's lives better and the cuteness was a benefit.

She had the sweetest soul.

There was a frenzy in the morning as Adrian woke up without his sister by his side. He ran to his parents crying who then started crying themselves and yelling.

It caused a panic throughout the household thinking she had been taken. They woke every boy up to look for her until they got to Marcos room where they saw the sweetest thing. The two were in bed together with Alina's feet in Marcos face. It was super sweet. Everyone who was apart of the search gave the two a kiss on the head and were leaving.

Everyone except Adrian who stayed and jumped onto the bed next to his sister. He made the same cute noise she did with the effort it took for him to get on the bed.

He cuddled her making sure she wouldn't disappear.
"You can't disappear sissy. I love you too much" 

After everyone woke up the parents had a day with the twins as the rest of the boys headed to school.

They had a blast. Salvatore and Athena really were the best parents.

They had played in the back garden on the swing set, had a water fight and baked with their grandmother. The two kids were covered in flour at the end but looked so cute together.

Secretly Athena took photos of the kids in order to cherish the memeory as they grew older just like she did for the other kids. She has a frame for each child filled with their photos in it.

THEY ARE 4 YEARS OLD HERE.

"Bubba are you ready for school. I can't wait to learn and make friends"

The twins had woken up very excited as it was their first day at school. The duo couldnt wait for this day as they were jealous of their older brothers coming hime with really cool and fun stories about their day in school.

"Yeah, but we stick together, yeah? cause we're best friends?"

"Of course bubba" she replies laughing.

The two got out of bed and held hands whilst going into their parents room. Their dad was nowhere to be seen but the twins didn't care as they're momma was there waiting for them.

"Momma!" The two ran to their mother wanting morning cuddles.

"My babies, are you two excited to start learning?"

"Yes Mama, me and Den are going to make so many friends. But not best friends because we are each other's best friends"

"mmhmmm, we stick together. I protect Lina from boyfriends mama"

"Den stop, i can make friends who are boys!" Alina said whilst getting embarrassed with her brother. She didn't want a boyfriend, just friends.

"You do that my little knight" Athena joked whilst smiling at her kids.

The twins got dressed in their uniform. They looked super cute.

The duo went downstairs holding their mother on each hand to have breakfast and saw the rest of the family there waiting for them.

"Daddy, tell Den to stop saying I can't have a boyfriend. Mama and Grammy says "I can have boyfriends whenever I want". Alina pouted.

"No can do little lady, you know mine and the boys rule, you can only date when you're 35. that's not that long is it? You can last can't you?" Salvatore stated seriously.

Alina was an overachiever. The family learnt that when she was young and so her mindset flipped. She was happy to agree to her father's terms in order to make him happy.

"Yes daddy. I'm a big girl, I can wait".

"That's my girl," her father replied cheerfully. The boys around the room were smiling whilst Athena and Ginny were rolling their eyes and pouting.

the family spent the morning together until it was time to send the kids to school. Alina and adrian got in the car with their grandparents and parents. The rest of the brothers made their way together. The men of the family did not want to see the twins grow up and were upset at them starting school.

When they arrived the family parked next to each other. The boys got out and gave the twins the biggest cuddles ever.

"Adrian, you beat up any boys who look at our baby sister, got it?". Rocco said.
Adrian saluted him, feeling ready for his mission.

Luca, Marco, Matheo, Romeo all gave the kids the biggest hug whilst saying things along the lines of

"no boys"

"work hard"

"have fun"

The boys went to their side of the school, trying to see their babies for as long as they could whilst walking away not really wanting to leave them.

Then it was the grandparents' turn.

"Stick with your brother and try your hardest and I will cook you the biggest cake, ok my baby?" Ginny said. Alina nodded enthusiastically as she loved her nonna's cakes.

She made the same deal with Aiden but with eclairs as that's what he loved.

"You two behave yourselves, and if i heard that you have a boyfriend missy the tickle monster will come tonight. Got it?" The twins laughed whilst nodding. He gave them both a kiss on the cheek and sent them to their parents.

Athena had her camera and made the twins pose with each other.
"You make sure you have fun today, okay? If anything is wrong, tell the teachers and we will come to you." the twins happily agreed.

She crouched down to Alina to give her a personal message. "If you find any cute boys today, can you tell me?" Alina blushed and nodded.

Salvatore hoisted the two children in his arms whilst kissing them and wishing them luck whilst reminding the twins about the rules on boys.

Alina still had her feeding tube but was given a pack lunch for school. She was fed in the morning's and evenings with her feed but was fine to eat solid foods throughout the day. She was deemed to get it removed in around 2 months.

The parents and grandparents reluctantly let them go and headed home, after waiting in the parking lot for 20 minutes.

ALINA'S POV

Me and my bubba walked into our classroom holding each other's hands. I was so excited. I really wanted to make friends. My brothers had loads of friends that always came over. They play hide and seek with me and Den. I really like them.

Den's my best friend though.

We were welcomed into the classroom which was half full. the teacher said we can sit wherever. Me and Den put our lunches away and ran to find a seat together. We were so excited. Our table had no one on it yet so we just talked with each other.

After some minutes people joined our table. There were only 3 seats left and a girl and 2 boys joined us. The girl had white hair and the one boy had brown hair and the other had red hair. They were all very pretty.

Everyone was staring at me and I don't know why. I just smiled and introduced myself and Den. They introduced themselves as well. The girl's name was Ella, and the boy with red hair was called Reese. The brown haired boy was called Jake. Their eyes still did not move until the teacher got everyone's attention. Me and Den looked at each other and just shrugged at their behavior.

The teacher said we were finger painting today and I was so excited. She told us to go get what we needed. The paints were all set out for us and the paper was in the middle of our tables.

Before I left I asked what color Adrian was gonna get. He said red and blue. I wanted purple, yellow,green and orange.

We went up together and I was just so excited. As I was choosing my paints I was tapped on the back. There was a boy with blonde hair. He had some boys with him.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Yeah. What's wrong with you, why are you a freak?" He said.

"What? I'm not a freak?" I replied looking for my bubba. He was already sitting down at our table setting everything up for us. I didn't want to disturb him.

"Yeah, you are. You have a thing up your nose. That's weird and ugly."

Before i could reply, i was shoved by the boy. The paints i was carrying spilt all over me. I didn't want to cry but i couldn't help it. I fell on my hand and that really hurt. I didn't think I was ugly.

All of my bubba's said I look like a princess. Were they lying?

I looked through my teary eyes to see Ella hitting the boy. She looked scary but it was ok because she was protecting me. My daddy said it's ok to hit someone to protect yourself or others. Den and the two boys were by my side helping me up and asking if I was ok. I nodded and got up trying not to show I was hurt.

The teacher broke Ella and the boy up and another teacher took me away to see if I was ok.

I was taken to the nurse's office where she wrapped my hand in a bandage after feeling around and me telling her it was hurting whenever it was touched. Luckily it was the one I didn't write with so I could still paint. I got a sticker as well for being so brave. She also spent time finding a new jumper for me. She was really nice.

My normal teacher came in and asked how i felt. I said i was fine and that i really wanted to do my painting so she smiled and followed me back to the classroom. She said she could phone my mama now to pick me up or wait till the end of the day. I told her the end of the day and she reluctantly agreed.

I went back to my table with dry eyes and smiled at everyone as they were so kind to me.

Den hugged me and kept apologizing for not being there but i told him it was fine. He held my hand for the rest of the day then. He tried to get me to tell him what happened but I wouldn't. I didn't want him to know I was ugly and a freak.

Ella was staring at me crazy again.
"I hope you're ok Alina, that guy was such a meanie face for pushing you. I can protect you, don't worry". Jake and Reese also agreed with her which made Den tighten his hand on mine.

These people were so nice.

My friends didn't leave me alone for recess or lunch, and I didnt see the mean guy either. Even though the start of the day was bad I still ended up having a pretty good day.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Adrian was feeling like absolute poop after his Lina was hurt. He had gone back to set his pants down and to set water and paper up for the two of them so that he didn't see what happened to his sissy. She was on the floor covered in paint. He ran straight to her about to knock over the boy who was standing over her.

He failed to protect her. The girl Ella was already punching the boy so he comforted his sister asking if he was ok. He started crying himself when the teacher took her away and didn't allow him to go with her.

He was so upset with himself. As soon as Alina returned he clinged her for the rest of the day. He was a bit upset that she wouldn't tell him what the boys said but left it. He wanted to beat the boy up but he hadn't returned and didnt for the rest of the day so he couldn't.

He was going to make it up to his sissy by never leaving her alone again.

Elle was annoyed to have to go to school. She loves staying at home to play with her dolls. she didn't want to go. She had friends already in her class so she wouldn't be alone but she really wanted to stay home.

As she was dragged into her class by her mother she saw her friends by a table and they all beckoned her over. As she was about to go over to them she saw the prettiest girl ever. She had black hair and freckles, so she made her way over to her table.

She couldn't stop staring at how pretty she was. She wanted her to be her best friend. They told each other their names and went up to get their paints.

She was choosing her paints wanting to impress her best friend with her skills when she saw her get shoved. All she could see was rage as she pushed and punched the boy who hurt her.

She got told off but she didn't care. She was going to protect her best friend forever. Alina came back and painted with them. She even complimented her painting. she was over the moon!

The only problem was that she also complimented Jake and Resse's painting as well. She was jealous.

She wanted her best friend all to herself.

Jake and Reese had the same thoughts. Alina Giovanni was the prettiest girl in the world. her brother glared at them whenever they stared at her too long but they couldn't help it. She looked like an angel.

Her laugh was really cute and she was really talented. She talked to them loads, which made them really happy.

When she was shoved by the boy they instantly went to see if she was ok. They couldn't deal with her being hurt so they tried extra hard to make her happy and it worked.

The two boys sighed whilst looking at how pretty she was.

THIS CHAPTER BASICALLY JUST SHOWS HOW PROTECTIVE THE WHOLE FAMILY IS. IM SORRY IF IT'S A LITTLE BORING.

ALINA'S POV
The day finally came to an end and i had so much fun! I had completely forgot about what happened this morning. It was only me and Den were left on our table. Ella, Jake and Reese had all left. Ella hugged me as she was leaving. I was a bit upset she was leaving but she reassured me we would have so much fun tomorrow!

We had so much fun as we painted and played hide and seek at recess. I always won. I thought they would be upset at that and accuse me of cheating like my brothers do but they didn't. I loved it. Playing with my brothers is also really fun though.

Den was still holding my hand. He hadn't left me all day after the incident. He's really sweet. I think Reese and Jake are really cute but i can only tell momma when I'm home. I don't want Den to ruin my chances of having a boyfriend. We can hold hands and kiss like mama and papa do. I think having a boyfriend would be really cool.

I was too busy thinking and didn't realise that mama and papa were waiting or us outside of our classroom. Den had been trying to get my attention. We both smiled at each other and ran towards mama and papa. I hugged papa and Den did mama.

"We missed you guys. Did you have fun?" Mama asked.

We both nodded and started talking over each other about everything we did. I was trying to tell them about our paintings that would be dried by tomorrow and Den talked about all of our friends. Mama and papa laughed at us. I don't know what was funny though.

I was ready to leave so i could tell everyone else about our day when i saw mama and papa be greeted by the teacher. I didn't want them to find out that i was ugly and weird.

I tried tugging papa's hand but he stayed still basically ignoring my strength. Den noticed my discomfort and came to cuddle me. I cuddled him back and we went to go sit on a bench next to us. We both watched as mama and papa's face's turned angry and sad.

I didn't;t like seeing them sad so i hid my face in Den's chest. If i can't see what's happening then it's not actually happening.

Turns out I was wrong. Den lifted my head up so i was face to face with my parents. I tried to hidE the left side of my face which had my feeding tube. I know they see it everyday but i didn't want them to see it right now.

Papa lifted my face and kissed my head.

"You are the cutest, sweetest and bravest little girl i know. That stupid boy was making things up because he knew that you were better than him. He was jealous. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise, ok?" Papa said.

I nodded and hugged him. I was still a little bit upset. What if he was saying that because he was my papa. What if lots of people don't like me. I clinged onto my papa whilst looking back at mama and Den a bit upset. I hid my face again but this time in papa's neck. I was insecure.

Soon enough we were buckled into the car and ready to head off. I tried not to look at anyone until we got home.

No body spoke for the whole ride but Den did hold my hand again. My bubba is so sweet.

We got home and mama got me out of my seat. She carried me into the house and dropped me so i could take my shoes off and put my bag away. I wanted everything ready for tomorrow.

I ran too see Grammy in the kitchen with the biggest chocolate cake i have ever seen! I saw all of my bubba's and my grandpa as well but I ignored them. I climbed onto the chair in front of the cake which took effort but i succeeded. I waited for Den to reach his eclairs before i started eating.

I thought that if i ate loads then i didn't need my tube. I know mama and papa said i would get it out soon but I wanted it out now. I didn't look at anyone as i tried to eat as much cake as I could. I loved cake so i enjoyed every bite.

After eating loads i was full. I couldn't eat any more. If i ate my dinner as well i wouldn't need my feed.

After putting my fork down i finally paid attention to my bubba's.

I missed them.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Athena and Salvatore were excited to pick up their children from school. They hoped that the two had a great day. The rest of the boys had headed home as the two didn't;t want to overwhelm the youngest two.

The two lovers smiled at each other as they went tot he twins classroom. They peeked in and saw the sweetest thing ever. Alina and Aiden were holding each other's hands whilst laughing and chatting with each other.

They looked so sweet. As they looked closer both parents noticed that Alina was in a different jumper than she came to school with. It was a little faded compared to her brand new once that she had on this morning. The two looked at each other questioning what had happened throughout the day.

They both took pride in knowing exactly what their children looked like and what they were dressed in each morning.

They were going to get to the bottom of this mystery one way or another.

They couldn't think for long as they had 2, 4year olds jumping on them demanding cuddles and talking over each other. The 2 did know if either child was breathing from how much they were speaking.

The family was ready to leave when Athena and Salvatore were beckoned by the twins teacher. They looked at each other confused but went nevertheless.

They both looked back to see their children safe on a bench and were happy to start on their conversation.

The teacher looked scared to talk to the couple. It gave the couple a sense of pride. Everyone in the country knew not to mess with the Giovanni's. The teacher was no exception. Salvatore was hoping nothing had happened to his little girl and that he'd have to kill someone for it. He just wanted to cuddle his little girl tonight and not have to work.

"They was an incident today regarding Alina. It wasn't anything too serious, but some paint was chucked onto her by another pupil. He is not here currently as he was sent home for the day but i can schedule a meeting for you with him and his parents tomorrow if needed. We gave her a spare jumper in the meantime. She also hurt her hand a little so the nurse treated her but we recommend you check it out yourselves as well. Again on behalf of the school we are very sorry about this incident. We ensure that we will get to the bottom of it and make sure it doesn't happen again" The teacher said.

Salvatore and Athena were fuming. This was the best private school in the country. Not only should their children be respected due to the donations made from the family but because of the name that came worth them.

The two also didnt know why they weren't made aware straight away after the incident. Salvatore would have come down instantly in order to give the boy a piece of his mind, he didnt care if he was 4. Nobody touched or hurts his princess like that. 

"I don;t care if that boy was God. No one and i mean no one touches or says anything to my daughter. If she tells me that she's been impacted negatively by this incident i will be back and i will get blood. Capiche? Give me the families contact details so i can sort it out tonight. Also if my daughter gets even the slightest scratch i expect a whole hospital for her not a measly little bandage. If anything and I mean anything like this happens again i will deal with you personally. Why weren't you watching Alina hmmm? I am only giving you another chance because my daughter is behind me" Salvatore seethed.

He nodded to his wife to get the details off of the teacher as he went to comfort Alina. She was hiding her face but he I'd don't know what for. He would get to the bottom of that tonight

Salvatore did whatever he could to comfort his daughter. It was clear that she didn't want to talk about the situation right now but planned on getting the truth later.

The whole family was ready to go home. Salvatore and Athena knew how excited the whole family was about hearing of the twins day. Salvatore and Alphonso had been worrying the whole day. Athena had to care for the two and remind them that they were ok so they wouldn't march down to the school every couple of minutes.

The rest of the family had been anxiously waiting for the twins arrival. Ever since the rest of the boys returned from school they couldn't sit still. Ginny had made the excuse of baking for the twins but it was really a coping mechanism for her.

Everyone got excited as they heard the front door open and cute little chatter from the twins.

All of the boys lined up as they had a competition going on to see who the twins would hug first.

They were all ready, even for disappointment as they missed the twins so much. But nothing happened. No little sound or giggles or cuddles. Alina had gone straight to the cake her grandma had made for her. Aiden looked torn. He didn't want to leave his eclairs or his twin but also wanted to greet his brothers. I-ultimately he stuck with his twin.

Alina didn't look at anyone until she was done. Nobody commented on it as Athena had given them the eyes as to not ask questions. After Alina was covered in chocolate she finally looked towards them.

"Bubba's! I had such a good day! I made so many friends and we played hide and seek and-" Alina was cut off her rant by Romeo.

"Baby girl, you have to breath!" Romeo said checking to make sure she was ok.

"Oh yeah". Alina took a big gulp of air then started her rant again. This time Aiden joined in on what happened.

There was so much speaking that not much could be heard. Sadly the family went silent at the wrong time.

"And then Alina was shoved but the boy was beat up before i could get my muscles on him. I would have killed him with my strength just like Nana said"

Aiden was smiling as he continued talking about his day.

Everyone except the parents stared at Alina wondering what had happened. No one could hate their baby girl. She was the sweetest, kindest and most hardworking person ever. Why would anyone hate her?

Alphonso knelt down to Aiden.

"My little knight, was Alina attacked? And for what?" He asked.

They wanted to ask Alina but she faced Romeos chest not wanting to speak.

"So we were ready to paint and this boy put paint on Alina. Alina was crying and hurt her hand. She has a bandage but I gave her cuddles and held her hand all day and she said she felt better. I tried to protect her as much as i could but i was eating up our painting things and didnt see exactly what happened" Aiden replied looking upset.

Alphonso comforted him by saying how brave and strong he was. Aiden felt a little bit better after that.

Everyone was looking confused but were interrupted by the bell in the house that showed it was dinner time.

"We will continue this discussion after dinner" Alphonso's voice boomed and everyone nodded their heads.

The whole family was eating their dinner. They all had spaghetti bolognese. Athena had given the twins a smaller serving than the rest and didn't expect Alina to eat all of it considering she had so much cake and her condition.

Alina tried to join in on as much of the conversations as she could but she was too focused on eating. No one was too bothered as they could see how hard she was trying to eat.

At the end everyone was shocked to see that Alina had finished her food. They all praised her which made her giggle and blush. The only downside was that she was covered in the sauce and so was Aiden.

The two had to get cleaned up. In the bath the two had a water fight with their rubber duckies. The two were so close with each other. Aiden allowed Alina to get out first and held his hands behind her in case she slipped.

Once they got their pj's on wont help from their parents, Aiden went to go get their Moana slippers. He put his own on and helped Alina with hers, then they went downstairs to the living room to hang with their family for the rest of the night and perhaps watch a film. 

Athena went to go get Alina's feed whilst her and Aiden argued against  the rest of their brothers about what film to watch. The twins were obsessed with Cars and Moana where's the rest of the boys loved Princess and the Frog and Tangled.

Alina was taken out of the argument as she was placed on Athena's lap ready for her feed. Alina knew what was coming and started kicking and flailing  her way out of her mothers grip.

This caught everyone's attention.  She tried to run away but Salvatore caught her and sat with her. He held her in a tight grip but not in a nasty way. Alina wouldn't stop though. She was kicking and punching trying to get out.

"ALINA GIOVANNI! YOU DO NOT HIT ANYONE, EVER. THAT'S A REALLY BIG NO-NO" Salvatore shouted. He rarely had to discipline his children but this was one of the few rare occasions.

"You don't like it when that boy hurt you today's, did you? I don't like it when you hurt me either. All you have to do is talk to us." He continued.

Alina at this point was crying and couldn't speak. Athena thought she was hungry sos he brought the feed over to her, but as soon as Alina saw it she slapped it out of her hand.

She shocked everyone again. She was never the aggressive type.

"ALINA! You need to calm down or you will be put in the biggest time out ever! Do you understand me?" Alphonso had now intervened.

"NO! I DON'T WANT MY SPECIAL MILK! I ALREADY ATE LOADS! I DON'T NEED IT." Alina was crying harshly now.

"Alina, you know you need your milk baby girl. It makes you stronger like your brothers. Don't you want that?" Athena questioned as she rubbed her sniffling babies back.

"NO! I'm strong enough already, see" Alina replied whilst still crying but trying to show off her mini muscles.

"I can see that baby, but don't you want to be stronger? The milk helps you! I promise." Alphonso obutted in trying to help.

Alina was getting too emotional and spilled the beans.

"I don't care if it helps, the tube makes me look weird and ugly. And then no one likes me. That's why the boy was nasty to me today. I don't want you guys to see me as weird and ugly. If i eat loads i don't need my tube" Alina said quietly.

Everyone was quietly seething in anger at this boy. She was the prettiest person to ever set foot on this Earth. How dare that boy say any differently. Alina was always confident with her tube and the family loved that she was. They didn't want any of her confidence gone.

"Baby girl, you are the most prettiest person ever! That boy was just jealous of you! Didn't you say that you made loads of friends? People who love you for who you are and what you look like? Has anyone in our family ever seen you as weird or ugly?" Alphonso asked Alina

"No, but you might be saying that because you're my family." Alina cried out.

Athena was still rubbing her back whilst Salvatore hugged her. During this commotion Aiden had managed to grab his sisters hand. The rest of the family was lined up ready to give anything she needed whether it was cuddles or kind words.

"Alina you are the sweetest person ever. If you don't believe us then that's fine but just know that we think the world of you. You're perfect ok?" Athena said comforting her.

Ginny came over to her first. "You are the sweetest and prettiest girl ever. Not only are you the most talented baker but you can s,ash the boys buts in monopoply as well! You are extra special and don't let silly little boys tell you otherwise, ok?"

All of the boys commented things along the lines of

"Our own little princess"

"Prettiest person ever"

"The most talented and kindest person ever"

"You shine brighter than the best star"

They all came one by one to give her a cuddle. There were many complaints about some boys taking too long, which made Alina giggle.

At the end Alina felt a lot better. She was very happy to know that her family didn't find her weird or ugly, yet her confidence still wasn't at 100% but that would better in time.

"Now are you ready to have your special milk, so you can go beat up the nasty boy from today?" Athena asked whilst kidding Alina's head.

Alina nodded wanting to get her revenge on the nasty boy. Her parents gave her permission to punch him if she ever saw him again.

Everything went smoothly from then on.

Aiden was seen even more as a little knight by his grandparents after hearing his actions today and showed him how proud they were of him. There would be plenty of eclairs in his future.

The twins were put in bed, Alina fell asleep straight away whilst Aiden waited for her to do so and also so he could tell his mama about the 2 boys who kept looking at Alina.

Athena was over the moon about the news whilst Aiden promised to do his best to keep them away. She laughed at his protectiveness.

As the rest of the family was downstairs and scheming about handling the boy that hurt Alina, they didn't realise that their most precious thing had been taken.
